Ty Hausch joined Van Metre Companies in May, 2004 and oversees all aspects of the leasing and sales of the company’s commercial portfolio, including existing retail, office and industrial properties owned by Van Metre and third party clients, plus roughly 1.1 million square feet of undeveloped land. He is also the principal real estate broker for Van Metre in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia, a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), and an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Ty was a CPA with Arthur Andersen before working as Director of Acquisitions at Combined Properties for over a decade.
Jaimie Baldino brought 16 years of industry experience with her when she joined Van Metre Companies in May 2017. Currently, as Director of Commercial Operations for Investment Properties, Jaimie primarily oversees the day-to-day operations and management of the commercial portfolio owned by Van Metre and third-party clients. Her diverse experience includes multi-family, mixed-use, office, retail and industrial assets throughout much of the DC Metro area, the Midwest and southern states. Jaimie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Residential Property Management from Ball State University and is working towards her designation as a Certified Property Manager (CPM). She is an active member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
Alisha Kuntzler joined Van Metre Companies Investment Properties Division in February, 2009 working as Account and then Assistant Manager at their local apartment communities. She moved over to commercial management in October of 2013 and quickly settled into a Property Manager role. Currently she oversees a large portion of the company’s commercial portfolio, including retail, office, and industrial properties owned by Van Metre and third party clients. With a B.S. in Architecture from Catholic University and 5 years’ experience as an architect, Alisha brings a unique perspective to operations which also allows her to partner with contractors and tenants, while providing additional support to the facilities team during large capital projects. Alisha is also active in commercial’s marketing and outreach efforts contributing to several PMA MAE 1st Place wins and fostering partnerships with George Mason University’s Honors College, sponsoring both Mason’s 9/11 Day of Service and the Mason Van Art program.
